After spending 20 years in financial leadership, 7 of that as a CFO, I started Brightline Advisory Services to help growing businesses thrive. Every business owner needs a trusted advisor/coach to help them with clarity, strategy, and accountability. I don't just offer accounting and finance advice, I will help you build a business that serves you, rather than one that you are a servant to.

Matthew Anderson is a licensed CPA and the head of Brightline's Fractional Controller Practice. He studied accounting at Troy University, earning both his bachelor's and master's degrees there, before spending four-plus years at Warren Averett, one of the Southeast's largest public accounting firms, where he focused on audit and assurance serving in the firm’s Financial Industry Service Group. Since coming on board at Brightline in late 2024, he's worked with businesses in a range of service industries, helped clients navigate ERP implementations and accounting system conversions, and supported fractional CFO engagements along the way. Now, he's focused on helping growing companies get the controller-level support they need, without the expense of a full-time hire.
